White House Claims Ignorance Of FBI Raid On Trump’s Mar-A-Lago Home

Recently, the White House stated their claim that they only found out about the FBI’s intense raid on Former President Trump’s House out in Florida via social media, at the exact same time as the rest of the media found out, as stated by various reports.

As odd as it sounds that someone within the Department of Justice would sign off on the execution of a search warrant against a former president and a political opponent of the current administration without Biden’s express knowledge, which is what was expressed in a social media post from Jonathan Martin, a reporter for the New York Times, on Monday evening. Trump was not present in the home when the raid took against the mansion, known as Mar-a-Lago, took place.

“Senior White House officials found out about the FBI’s Mar a Lago raid on Twitter, had no notice, per source familiar,” stated Martin in a social media post.

Ed O’Keefe, a reporter for CBS News, stated that top Biden officials confirmed with him the same thing.

“No advance knowledge. Some learned from old media some from social media,” O’Keefe quoted a senior official with the administration when questioned about the raid.

This dramatic raid was first announced to the world by Trump himself as part of a long and furious statement expressing what he labeled as an entirely political move.

“These are dark times for our Nation, as my beautiful home, Mar-A-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, is currently under siege, raided, and occupied by a large group of FBI agents,” stated Trump. “Nothing like this has ever happened to a President of the United States before.”

Other conservatives, many of which are not aligned with the 45th president, stated that this raid sets a horridly dangerous precedent.

Reportedly, this search was targeting material that Trump brought with him to Mar-a-Lago after he departed the White House in 2021, as stated in a release. allegedly, Trump delayed returning more than over a dozen boxes of materials back to the National Archives which seemed to include documents that were reportedly labeled as classified.

Scott Jennings, a Republican strategist that took part in a CNN panel a scant few hours after the raid, stated that the overall political implications of Biden’s Justice Department going after his predecessor just cant be brushed off.

“I mean, they’ve raided the guy’s house,” explained Jennings. “There’s no reconciliation here when you raid somebody’s house. And so because of the political implications of that, I’m curious to know about what did the White House know?”

One former top adviser to President Obama, David Axelrod, stated that Attorney General Merrick Garland has officially gone past the point of no return in a political sense.

“He has crossed a rubicon here — if you are going to prosecute a former President of the United States, you’d better be pretty darn sure that you have an open-and-shut case,” expressed Axelrod.
