Kamala Harris In Hot Water Over Statements From CNN Interview

This past Monday, Democrat Vice President Kamala Harris was forced to deal with extreme criticism because of the statements she made when taking part in a CNN interview that officially aired on the left-wing network in which she was questioned about topics ranging from abortion to inflation.

When it came to the issue of abortion, Harris seemed to be entirely just outclassed by CNN host Dana Bash and struggled to deal with her questions.

“You’re saying now, the President said that this fall Roe is on the ballot,” stated Bash. “But what do you say to Democratic voters who argue, ‘wait a minute, we worked really hard to elect a Democratic president and vice president, Democratic led House, a Democratic led Senate? Do it now.'”

“But do what now? What now?” Harris stammered. “I mean, we need, we listen, what we did, we extended the Child Tax Credit for the first year.”

“I’m sorry, when I say do it now, act legislatively to make abortion rights legal,” shot back Bash.

When questioned about getting rid of the filibuster in order to push through abortion laws, Harris refrained from even trying to speak on the matter, only stating that Biden had already given the stance on the issue.

“I think that he has been clear about where we stand on, on this issue of reproductive health and what the President and our administration have within our toolkit to do and so far, that’s what we’ve been pursuing,” stated Harris. She also highlighted that there are not the necessary votes in the Senate in order to make abortion legal even if the filibuster did not exist.

Additionally, Harris was questioned about the Supreme Court Justices the Left states have lied about their stances concerning Roe v. Wade throughout the confirmation hearings. When asked about what could be done to deal with the situation, Harris again refused to answer any questions only stating that she herself had not voted for them.

Harris was also grilled about the economy, and inside that inflation, as Bash highlighted that “people’s wallets are really being hurt” while being under the Biden administration.

“Right now, gas prices, as you well know, they’re still near about $5 a gallon,” stated Bash. “The President said he wanted a gas tax holiday, it doesn’t seem like it’s going anywhere in Congress.”

“What else is in your toolbox?” questioned Bash. “Is there anything else you can do to help bring down the cost of gas?”

“Well, first of all, let’s just say that this is this is a very real issue. And we have to do something about it,” stated Harris. “And it’s one of our highest priorities as an administration.”

At that point, Harris attempted to redirect and throw the blame on Russian President Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine for the high gas prices.

“But that has, you’ve been fighting for that since day one,” stated Bash. “But now, inflation is is really high. Are you concerned about a recession? The administration said that they weren’t that worried about the inflation and then that changed.”

“I think that there can be no higher priority than what we have been clear is our highest priority, which is bringing down the cost and the prices as much as we possibly can and we will stay focused on that,” fired back Harris.

Harris was then soundly mocked about a portion of the interview about abortion when she referred to herself as “a woman myself and the daughter of a woman and a granddaughter of a woman.”

Harris also seemed to be advocating for young men not being made to be responsible for their actions.

“And when we think about it, everyone has something at risk on this,” stated Harris. “First of all, if you are a parent of sons, do think about what this means for the life of your son and what that will mean in terms of the choices he will have.”
