New Poll Discovers Most Americans Want DOJ To Put A Halt To Protesting A Houses Of Supreme Court Justices

A recent poll discovered that a strong majority of Americans now want officials with the Department of Justice (DOJ) to get farm more strict on protesters demonstrating outside the personal residences of the justices of the Supreme Court.

Roughly 58% of those responding think that Attorney General Merrick Garland should start to enforce a federal law that bans protesting at the personal residences of the Supreme Court justices, as stated by poll data published on Wednesday morning by Judicial Crisis Network (JCN).

The polling seems to highlight that both the Democrats and President Joe Biden are “wildly” out of touch with the American people on the subject of protests outside the personal residences of the SCOTUS justices, as reported to JCN, as well as the violence and threats that have been issued against churches and pregnancy centers in the wake of the leaked Supreme Court draft opinion that indicated that Roe v. Wade would soon be overturned.

Protesters sporting a pro-abortion stance have regularly gathered in order to chant, curse, shout, and demonstrate in the neighborhoods of justices Clarence Thomas, Brett Kavanaugh, Neil Gorsuch, and Amy Coney Barrett.

The President of JCN, Carrie Severino, stated that the group has the intent to use the polling, as we make our way into midterms, to “call out the Senators who are endangering the justices, making sure their constituents know that their rhetoric and actions are putting lives at risk.”

“Democrats who refuse to condemn protests, threats, and intimidation are endangering Supreme Court justices and their families and it’s long past time for their silence to be spotlighted,” stated Severino.

A recent poll discovered that 61% of the Americans surveyed stated that protesting around the houses of the justices in such a manner directly undermines the idea of American democracy. Additionally, 60% of registered voters also agreed that Biden himself should speak out against the blatant attempts to intimidate the justices by angrily demonstrating around their homes, which he has ey to speak out against.

“For months, Joe Biden’s White House has refused when pressed to condemn the protests at the justices’ homes and Attorney General Merrick Garland has been unwilling to enforce the federal law prohibiting these protests,” explained Severino.

“This polling shows that the majority of Americans — including Democrats and Independents — believe the Biden Administration’s hands-off approach to these protests is wrong,” continued Severino.

ShutDownDC, with its numerous pro-abortion activists, also put out a bounty that will pay “DC service industry workers” for any and all information regarding the sighting of Supreme Court justices in the wake of the group swarming a steakhouse at which Justice Kavanaugh was taking in dinner with his family, which forced him to sneak out the back of the restaurant.

As stated in the new poll, 71% of those who took the poll stated that the process of paying any activist group “bounties” for information on where the justices are dining is just a step “too far.” That group sported 61% of Democrats and 69% of independents, as reported by the poll.

In the same vein, 84% of voters spoken to (which includes 82% of Democrats) stated that any and all who are attacking or vandalizing churches and pregnancy resource centers should be subject to persecution, and 85% of Democrats stated that they think these types of actions go against American democracy.

CRC Research polled 1,600 registered voters between July 14 and July 17 with a margin of error of 2.45% at the 95% confidence level.
