Kathy Griffin, a comedian and actress, found herself in some serious hot water this past Tuesday in the wake of claiming that the only way to stop a “civil war” from taking place would be to make people vote for Democrat for all future elections.
Griffin issued these statements via social media, making the claim that only people who were in favor of such a fight happening would choose to vote for any Republican at all the November midterm elections.
“If you don’t want a Civil War, vote for Democrats in November,” she stated via social media. “If you do want Civil War, vote Republican.”

Griffin is most well known recently for a picture in which she carried around a prop that was created to resemble the dead, severed head of former President Donald Trump. The photo cost the star of “My Life on the D-List” her yearly job as host of the New Year’s Eve broadcast on CNN alongside Anderson Cooper, a longtime anchor for the network.
Critics seemed to react just as enthused with Griffin’s assertion of imminent civil war as they were when she held up the staged Trump head prop, and they responded as such in a tide across Twitter.
“So you’re threatening civil war from the Left if you don’t get your way? I thought Biden just said WE were the violent ones …” stated Mrs. Massacre 2.0 (@missus_massacre).

“If the choice is being crushed by nasty totalitarian deviants or Civil War—well…” stated Dave Reaboi, seemingly leaving his conclusion to the imagination.
“So you’re threatening war if the election doesn’t go your way and Democrats do not win,” stated @irishamerican27. “We know the threat is not idle; we have been living through your civil war for six years now. We’re used to it.”
“Kathy Griffin is inciting violence on Twitter again. She must be struggling to book gigs and is in need of attention,” continued Brigitte Gabriel.
Jeremy Redfern stated, “It wouldn’t be the first time the Democrats started a civil war.”
“If you like high gas prices, vote for Democrats in November. If you do want to be energy independent, vote Republican,” claimed Jillian Anderson via her tweet going in another direction.
“Ter·ror·ism (noun): the unlawful use of violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political aims,” explained @mostlypeacefull.
“This is WRONG. Crazy Hollywood Leftie threatening ‘Civil War’ if Dems don’t win,” stated Senator Ted Cruz. “Sadly, this is today’s Left: angry, hateful & violent.”
