A steady stream of buses and planes filled with illegal aliens have been sent to Democratic strongholds across the United States, and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass is growing increasingly alarmed.
Bass, the mayor of a soon-to-be Sanctuary City in California, recently said that she is afraid illegal aliens could be airlifted to her city at any moment.
“We live in a city that welcomes immigrants, and so I think we have been able to handle it, but I am fearful that any day, planes could start coming,” Bass stated on Thursday.
The mayor’s fears seem well-founded as the Biden administration has been sending illegal immigrants around the country via taxpayer-funded flights, as exposed by The Daily Wire.
Previously, Texas Governor Greg Abbott and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis had been sending busloads of illegal aliens to liberal cities, including Bass’ Los Angeles. The mayor had tried to fend off the influx of illegal immigrants by insisting “L.A. has not extended an invitation asking for people to come.”

It doesn’t quite explain why Bass and other elected officials in Los Angeles were so welcoming when the first busload arrived earlier this year.
“Los Angeles is not a city motivated by hate or fear and we absolutely will not be swayed or moved by petty politicians playing with human lives,” Bass said at the time. She added that the city would work with non-profit organizations, including the L.A. Welcomes Collective, as well as with County, State, and Federal partners.
On Thursday, however, Bass characterized Abbott’s transportation of the foreign nationals as politically motivated. “What they’re trying to do is destabilize cities,” she said. “It’s the narrative that these are Democratic-run cities and that we don’t know how to govern and that everything is chaotic here.”
The sad part is that if Bass were serious about tackling this issue, she and the Democratic Party would push for the deportation of illegal immigrants and implement stronger security measures at the border — neither of which the Biden administration has any interest in doing.
Instead of taking steps to deter the illegal aliens from coming, the left has banked on offering them federal funding and freebies. On Friday, a clear message of frustration was heard as Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) was berated by an angry crowd of New York City residents.

The message from the crowd was loud and clear — close the border, and send them home. But, the mayor of Los Angeles seems to be ignoring this, and continues to back policies that open the door for illegal immigration.
Bass and her party colleagues are the ones to blame for this “crisis”. They voted for and continue to support the politicians who created this situation in the first place, yet still fail to take any meaningful action to stop it.
Until elected officials actually have the courage to stand up and close the border, the influx of illegal immigrants transported by planes and buses, backed by the Democrat party, will continue.
