Kari Lake Makes Big Announcement Over Future

Former Republican gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake has announced that she is seriously considering a run for U.S. Senate in Arizona.

Lake, a vocal advocate for former President Donald Trump, made the announcement in an interview on Newsmax, expressing her thoughts on the need for an America First Senator to represent the constituents of Arizona, and the entire country.

“We desperately need some people who are going to put the citizens of their state first when they go to the federal government, go off to the Senate or the House. I’m seriously contemplating running for Senate,” Lake said.

The Former Secretary of State, who lost the gubernatorial election to Democrat Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs last year, maintains that the election was rigged due to numerous voter discrepancies that occurred in Maricopa County.

According to NBC News, Lake believes that she is the only one who can win the Senate race based on the current polling, and if she decides to run, she will fight to make sure they win.

“Arizona is not all about what Joe Biden’s about. As a matter of fact, Arizona is seriously depressed about what Joe Biden is doing to our country,” explained Lake.

Arizona is not alone in the opinion—many Americans disapprove of the Biden administration’s policies such as their handling of illegal immigration and their method of stimulating the economy.

Nevertheless, Lake is one of many who have put their names in the running for the open Senate seat up for grabs in 2020. Democrats Kirkpatrick and Kelly and Republicans Leach and Jacobus are also currently in the mix.

Lake’s potential bid has certainly generated a lot of buzz and if she decides to run, it can be expected to make the race for U.S. Senate in Arizona increasingly competitive.

Regardless, it is important to note that the primary election is more than a year away and it is still unclear which of the candidates will actually be in the running. Until then, Kari Lake and all of the other potential candidates will be mulling things over and deciding whether or not to take the plunge.
