Martha’s Vineyard In Hot Water Over Poorly Handled Forced Removal Of Recent Illegal Immigrants

Martha’s Vineyard found itself the target of some pretty hefty criticism this past week in the wake of videos coming to light highlighting the 50 illegal immigrants being forcibly removed from the area in the wake of being flown there via chartered plan by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R).

This plan from DeSantis kicked off what sparked up into the largest national news story of the week as groups of Democrats sprung forth to falsely accuse the Floridian governor of having taken part in extreme human trafficking and outright kidnapping.

The illegal immigrants loaded up onto a pair of buses and were sent down to Joint Base Cape Cod, at which the group was greeted by 125 members of the National Guard who had been activated to deal with them.

“It took less than 24 hours for the libs to kick these illegal immigrants out of Martha’s Vineyard, but Biden won’t lift a finger to deport the thousands of illegals pouring through the southern border daily out of the country,” stated Donald Trump Jr. in response to the incident.

Ross Douthat, a well-known columnist for the New York Times, stated that the entire point of sending these illegal migrants out to Martha’s Vineyard was to “provoke a huge mobilization” from the members of the National Guard to “imply a contrast with a liberal White House failing to help border communities dealing with a far larger influx.”

“DeSantis really exposed these hypocrites,” exclaimed popular YouTuber Tim Pool.

“I thought Martha’s Vineyard was a ‘sanctuary city’?” chided Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) mockingly. “I thought they declared themselves a ‘haven’ for illegal immigrants?? Just 50 arrive, and the socialist billionaires send them away—to a military base, no less—in JUST 24 hours.”

As Missouri’s Republican nominee for U.S. Senate, Eric Schmitt wrote: “Something, something ‘In this house we believe…’ Something, something…Ukraine flag.”

“In the end, the Leftist liberal elite anthem is a word salad of virtue signaling defined by next level hypocrisy,” he continued.

“Unfreakingbelievable,” tweeted out attorney A.J. Delgado. “Are all the virtue-signaling posts, about how ‘we took them in, we stepped up and came together to help!’ going to be removed now?”

“The wealthy elites on the Vineyard couldn’t stand to have the undesirables there for more than 2 days, so they shipped them off to a military base,” stated former Trump official Monica Crowley on social media. “Someone else’s problem now. Back to the Chardonnay!”

Another notable response came from fighter Jon Fitch: “Martha’s Vineyard might be the most racist place in America. They called the national guard over 50 non-white people. Gross.”
