Joe Rogan, the podcasting titan and comedian, went after Vice President Kamala Harris through a recently released poster for a soon-to-happen standup comedy show.
The poster sports Rogan with a marijuana joint in his mouth while Harris, clad in a police uniform, laughs as she puts handcuffs on Rogan to arrest him.
A pin can be seen on the uniform Harris is wearing that states: “FREE BRITTNEY GRINER,” a player from the WNBA that has been sentenced to a long stint in prison out in Russia on charges of drug possession.
This poster is for an event to be held in Columbus, Ohio, on the 16th of September, 2022, at the Schottenstein Center.

Harris has recently had to deal with backlash this past August in the wake of writing out a statement that claimed that with Griner’s sentencing, “Russia continues its wrongful detention of Brittney Griner.” Griner officially pled guilty to the charges, and officials with the Biden administration have reportedly weighed handing over a known and dangerous Russian terrorist in exchange for the professional athlete.
Rogan targeted Harris as part of an episode of his show “The Joe Rogan Experience” just last week where he hosted NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers as a guest on his show.
“That’s why the hypocrisy about the Brittney Griner situation was so egregious in this country,” explained Rogan. “Where Kamala Harris is talking about how horrible it is that Brittney Griner is in jail. Well, [Harris] put people in jail. [Harris] did. Thousands of people in jail for marijuana. Yeah, it’s crazy.”
Rogan continued his tirade by calling out the Biden-Harris administration for failing to follow through with their seemingly forgotten campaign promises concerning drug offenses.
“How come you guys didn’t exonerate people that were in jail for marijuana when you said you were going to? They said that they were going to make marijuana federally legal,” stated Rogan. “They said they were going to exonerate prisoners who were in jail for non-violent drug offenses. This is what they said. None of that has happened.”
Back in February 2021, Biden claimed that he would stand in support of the decriminalization of marijuana and allow states to create their own laws about the drug. Biden has also made promises to utilize his clemency powers to lower the sentences handed out to various non-violent drug offenders.
The poster also makes reference to Harris’ time spent as the district attorney of San Francisco, where she “oversaw more than 1,900 marijuana convictions,” read a report from The Mercury News. “Her prosecutors appear to have convicted people on marijuana charges at a higher rate than under her predecessor, based on data about marijuana arrests in the city.”
