Trump Widely Promotes Insane Claim Regarding Florida Government DeSantis

Former President Donald Trump has recently taken to promoting entirely unfounded claims across social media as of this past Tuesday in which he accused Florida Governor Ron DeSantis of trying to use alcohol to groom underage girls.

Trump’s most recent attack against the governor of Florida, who just recently handily secured his reelection in Florida with a historically staggering 19.4-point blowout, comes just after Trump made the claim this past week that DeSantis “begged” him to issue an endorsement back in 2018 and that “there were tears coming down from his eyes.”

Trump promoted a post that highlighted a very grainy, low-quality picture of someone that is allegedly DeSantis standing next to a number of women at a party who seems to be roughly the same age.

“Here is Ron DeSanctimonious grooming high school girls with alcohol as a teacher,” alleged the post containing the image.

Trump spotlighted the post across all of his social media channels, stating: “That’s not Ron, is it? He would never do such a thing!”

As previously reported by The New York Times, the photo was first published by one blog which is headed up by a Democrat super PAC and that the pair of former female students explained that the parties which DeSantis attended “took place after” they had fully graduated from school.

Near the end of last month, Trump, as part of along chain of comments sent to reporters and across social media posts, made a claim for the credit for the successes that DeSantis has found, labeled the governor a “globalist” who would be “very disloyal” to start up a presidential bid for 2024, and attempted to once again hand the mantle on DeSantis of the Trumpian moniker “Ron DeSanctimonius.” However, the Sunshine State governor appeared entire unfazed by the attacks from Trump.

Trump has also chosen to attack DeSantis over his response to the coronavirus pandemic despite the fact that the vast majority of Republicans nod to Florida as the prime model for success for promoting freedom and beating back government control over people’s lives.

“Ron DeSanctimonious” ended up going “FAR WORSE than many other Republican governors, including that he unapologetically shut down Florida,” exclaimed Trump in a post to his social media.

DeSantis issued a response to Trump’s attacks near the end of the month by stating that voters are the ones to render a judgment on how politicians are handling their jobs.

“I roll out of bed, I have people attacking me from all angles. It’s been happening for many, many years,” stated DeSansit, adding that “in a crisis situation like COVID, the good thing about it is when you’re an elected executive, you have to make all kinds of decisions, you’ve got to steer that ship.”

“And the good thing is, is that the people are able to render a judgment on that, whether they reelect you or not,” stated the governor. “And I’m happy to say, you know, in my case, not only did we win re-election, we won with the highest percentage of the vote that any Republican governor candidate has in the history of the state of Florida.”

“We won by the largest raw vote margin, over 1.5 million votes, than any governor candidate has ever had in Florida history. And in fact, we almost doubled the previous record, which I think was like 780,000 vote margin,” stated DeSantis. “And so what I would just say is, that verdict has been rendered by the people of the state of Florida.”
