Ever since early Wednesday morning, former Democrat President Barack Obama has been the recipient of harsh criticism online in the wake of his invoking of George Floyd in the wake of the horrendous school shooting that took place this past Tuesday in Texas.
The statements from Obama take place after an 18-year-old Latino male rushed into Robb Elementary School in Uvalde and attacked the students inside, resulting in the deaths of 19 children, before he was taken down by an off-duty agent of the U.S. Border Patrol who rushed into the building without waiting for any backup.
“As we grieve the children of Uvalde today, we should take time to recognize that two years have passed since the murder of George Floyd under the knee of a police officer,” stated Obama in his tweets. “His killing stays with us all to this day, especially those who loved him.”
Obama continued his statements by starting to promote of his leftist My Brother’s Keeper Alliance, which attempts to force police departments to “reimagine policing.”
There were quite a few notable responses to Obama’s statements, which included:
